Description

The Transtherm Air Blast Cooler system uses a dry air cooler. This product is designed to dissipate heat from a cooling circuit.

Free Cooling Systems

Designed to improve the efficiency of energy hungry chilled water systems, free coolers automatically dissipate the system heat when ambient air temperatures are low enough. Operating through the majority of autumn, winter and spring, they allow the chiller to switch off for up to 90% of the year. These systems arrive fully packaged, complete with integral controls, 3 way valve, actuator and bypass pipework; which means they can be easily installed on existing systems.

One of the greatest advantages of free cooler units results from utilising lower power consuming coolers during lower ambient conditions, as listed below:
