Description

A brand-new centrifugal parts dryer designed for fast, efficient drying - featuring a perforated basket within a 525 rev/min rotating drum and a powerful lid mounted fan that circulates hot air through the load for rapid, even results. Most appropriate for small parts being processed in bulk.

Why Choose Centrifugal Drying?

Drying small parts in convection dryers can be inefficient where parts are closely packed and air cannot freely flow between them. Centrifugal drying overcomes those obstacles and speeds up production by drying two ways.

  • Centrifugal force from the spinning action of the basket "throws off" excess water, oils, or other liquids
  • At the same time, a turbine fan mounted below the basket creates a powerful suction that pulls air through the parts load for added drying power. 

This double-drying action assures fast drying and reduces the scarring and marring frequently responsible for costly rejects. In most cases, producing spot-free, moisture-free parts in under 60 seconds.

What are Centrifugal Dryers?

Centrifugal Dryers machines are ideal for the drying of small parts which need to be dried fast and efficiently.

The process consists of a removable perforated basket which the wet parts are loaded into. A lockable lid encloses the parts whilst the basket is rotated at high speed. Hot air is passed into the basket to raise the temperature of the parts to ensure they are fully dried. Water which has adhered to the parts is spun off the parts due to the high centrifugal force produced and is removed from the machine through a drain located in the base of the machine.

Safety is ensured by fully interlocked access lid, braked motor drive and process timer.
