Description

The Nederman NC range cyclone is a separator that uses centrifugal force to purify airstreams loaded with bulk loose debris such as chips, trimmings or dusts.

Its performance depends on the rotation speed, density and grading of the particles to be removed.

The efficiency of the cyclone is approx. 90% removal rates for particles above 10 micron, higher efficiency for large particles.

How It Works

The dust is separated by forcing the air into a swirl forcing the particles to the outer wall of the cone. As the air changes speed through this path, the particles slow and are dropped from the stream into the collection bucket. The cleaned then air arises from the middle of this swirl and passes through the energy saving tangential outlet.

Construction

  • Built with 3mm thick steel sheet.
  • Inlet - 450mm x 280mm
  • Outlet - Ø350mm
  • Waste collection bucket - 75 litres
