Description

A small single barrel rumbling machine for high quality, small component surface finishing. This small-scale, industrial barrel is designed to support media such as steel balls when surface finishing small components.

The machine is mainly used for removing burrs and polishing the surface of parts of different kinds of products in such trades and industries as hardware parts, turned parts, instruments and apparatus, bicycles, sewing machines, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, bearings, automobiles, electric appliances, plastics, ceramics, non-ferrous metals and precious handicrafts.

The barrelling unit gives excellent results for polish and deburring in the processing of irregularly shaped parts. This type of finisher is ideal for the surface finishing of large quantities of small-sized parts.

This barrel finisher offers one the most versatile machines to handle a broad finishing range of finishes on differing materials from hardened steel to soft non-ferrous metals and from rough deburring to high luster burnishing.

Standard Features Include:

  • Heavy-duty construction to support finishing applications such as ball burnishing and part on part finishing.
  • 3 speed settings.
  • 1425 rev/min 240 V motor drive.
  • 10 Litres capacity, approx.
  • Parts catchment trays.
  • Abrasive resistant wear lining.

Former Radius Aerospace

This plant is one of several machines acquired during Radius Aerospace's reorganisation of their manufacturing facility at Shrewsbury, UK.
Their worldwide reputation for quality is reflected in the machinery and maintenance of their manufacturing plant.
Many of these machines include features that are necessary for the manufacture of aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines,
but can provide a benefit to any industry.
