Description

This AirTech Electric air circulated oven is built from a heavy duty steel box sectioned frame with infilled 100mm thick galvanised insulated panels - AMS 2750F Class 3B

Suitable for such processes as de-embrittlement, stoving, powder coating, drying, composite curing and thermoforming to name but a few.

Former Radius Aerospace

This plant is one of several machines acquired during Radius Aerospace's reorganisation of their manufacturing facility at Shrewsbury, UK.
Their worldwide reputation for quality is reflected in the machinery and maintenance of their manufacturing plant.
Many of these machines include features that are necessary for the manufacture of aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines,
but can provide a benefit to any industry.

  • Double loading doors with inner emergency escape handle.
  • Electric 30kW heater bank for rapid heat rise and close control.
  • Roof mounted air circulation fan with hot air return vents.
  • Safety air recirculation flow monitor and alarm (TBC).
  • Steel floor with trolley positioning guide.
  • Powered exhaust fan.
  • Electrical control panel with process timer, programmable controller (shared chart recorder with 2nd oven)
  • Constructed in heavy duty steel box sectioned framework with in filled galvanised insulated panels.
  • Fully CE marked.
  • Eurotherm 6100A Chart recorder calibrated until 25th April 2024.

Common Heat Treatments That Use Industrial Ovens & Furnaces

Heat treatment is a controlled process of heating and cooling materials in order to improve its properties, performance, and strength typically made up of three main steps. Firstly heating the metal to a specific temperature, soaking or maintaining the specific temperature for a certain amount of time, and cooling to a suitable rate following prescribed methods.

Purpose of Airflow in Ovens

A popular feature among our range of industrial and laboratory ovens, air circulation is essential for many heat treatments and processes, but it isn’t necessary for all. Seen most typically in high precision ovens for improved temperature accuracy, installing an air circulation system in an oven will distribute the heated air around the oven for a tighter temperature uniformity inside the chamber.
