Description

Powder Coating Cell comprising of powder coating gun with dispenser, powder coating containment booth with matching cyclone and powder after filter. All the necessary equipment needed to set up a safe environmentally friendly powder coating operation within your facility (Compressed air and electricity required to run the equipment)

The Theory

Because most wet paint overspray is sticky, it can be arrested by carrying it on an air stream and then trapping the paint particle within either a pleated paper filter, nylon mesh or expanded paper filter. The air can then pass through the filter and the fumes can be exhausted to the atmosphere.

Dry Filter Bench Level Spray Booth

  • Manufactured in galvanized steel.
  • External size of 2600mm x 1600mm x 2230mm high.
  • The spray booth working area is 2260mm wide, 1500mm deep and 1500mm high and has a floor level outlet connection of Ø350mm to connect to the after filter/cyclone unit.

Dry Bag Type Dust Extractor with Pre-Passive Cyclone

This RDM Engineering manufactured dust extractor and cyclone filter system has been manufactured to the highest standard and is ideal for use with powder coating spray booths but can be adapted for use in any application where dust extraction is required, suitable for most dry dust environments such as cement works, paper mills and gypsum works but to name a few.

 After Filter/Dust Extractor

  • The dust extractor is an RA500 unit.
  • Filter area 500ft² / 50M².
  • Motor 7.5kW. / 10Hp
  • CFM = 3000 / 5250M³/min.
  • With 20 anti-static filter bags, 1200mm x 900mm.
  • With a motor-driven auto bag cleaning shaker.
  • No explosion relief as not required for powder coating but one can be fitted if used for other dusts (please ask for details)

Cyclone (Passive)

  • The cyclone is an RC 600 unit, inlet diameter ducting is 300mm, dust collection bucket at the base.
  • CFM 2250 - 3000.
  • The cyclonic mechanical separator uses centrifugal force to remove large and high-volume dusts from industrial applications and is generally employed as a pre-filter to reduce the dust loading on main filter units.
  • An economical solution to a wide range of dust collection problems. 
  • Excellent for high dust loads, high temperature, and bulk product recovery applications.
