Description

Romer industrial ovens are 300°C general purpose batch ovens from 0.9m³ to 8.4m³ in size. Ideal for a vast range of low to medium temperature heat processes.

These ovens are from the well respected Polish manufacturer Romer and include upgraded controls and build features for the UK market, as designed by Riley Surface World.

Constructed from 160mm thick heavy duty steel insulated panels and externally clad in a hard wearing powder coated finish.

During use air is circulated around the oven by a roof mounted fan through adjustable hot air vents in the side panels.
Thanks to the inclusion of a ventilation system the ThPID system can cool the chamber in a controlled time.

The ThPID system allows the operator to define the percentage of the maximum set power - in case the required power rating is not available on site.

The MTS + ThPID iCure Controller included improves the functionality of the oven by offering user control of all of the processing parameters and well as offering full tractability not only of the process but also power consumption. The controller comes complete with additional PC software, so any data stored in the controller can be recorded and transferred to your own PC for review and archiving. Riley Surface World offer an essential industrial oven range without the MTS + ThPID features.

Forced Air Circulation

Featuring the addition of a fan to cycle air around the internal chamber, forced air circulation ovens (also known as mechanical convection ovens) can offer you a greater heat consistency for your precision heat application. The higher the air circulation rate per minute results in a tighter temperature uniformity. Riley Surface World can also provide convection ovens with no fan-assisted air circulation.

Controls

  • ThPID control system offsets the effect of heating inertia called hysteresis. The standard solution is based on a circuit that switches elements on and off with constant power. ThPID dynamically adjusts the voltage at the set point temperature reducing power user and increasing accuracy.
