Description

A used stainless steel semi-automatic enclosed solvent vapour degreaser plant from the ICI range of cleaning machines. Degreaser most recently running Perchloroethylene, suitable for a boiling point of 121°C

These machines are designed to work along side a wide range of halogenated cleaning solvents with a boiling point of 121°C

Description of Single compartment solvent vapour cleaning plant

The C J System range of single compartment vapour cleaning plans as specifically designed for use with chlorinated solvents but this unit has been most recently used with Perchloroethylene. The plant consists of a single chamber which is electrically heated by half sheathed ring elements and condensing coils which are water cooled.

The chamber contains the liquid solvent in the sump which is boiled to form a saturated vapour. The vapour produced is controlled by the working height and in turn by the condensing coils, these condense the vapour back into a clean liquid. This distillate is collected in the distillates troughs, this then passes through a water separator and returns to the sump for re-use. 

Feature include:

  • Stainless steel construction with reinforcements as necessary.

  • 4 sided rim extraction with integrated fan.
  • Chilled cooling water condensing coils. Flow rate 325 Litres/Hr at 20°C Max.
  • Vented clean out door and upper chamber.
  • Top safety cut out to prevent vapour escaping in the event of a coil failure.
  • Bottom safety cut out to prevent the sump liquid from becoming over contaminated.
  • Low level cut out to prevent 'boil dry'.
  • Complete with unique ICI double lid sealing system and semi automatic integral basket hoisting facility.
  • Original OEM manual.
  • 415 volts,  3 phase, 40 amps
  • Power-trim energy-saving device and thermally insulated stainless steel tank.
