Using a closed-loop cooling system, they chill the air just above freezing, causing moisture to condense and drain away efficiently. Before exiting the dryer, the air is reheated to avoid condensation in downstream piping. For optimal performance and air quality, they should always be paired with general-purpose and high-efficiency coalescing filters.
