Description

“R”…Rotary Vibrators are flat bottom rotary vibrators which are perfect for treating large and bulky as well as delicate parts. The flat bottom ensures a perfect immersion of the parts into the media mass. Bottom unload plugs allow complete evacuation of the work bowl and external separation of media from parts. Comes with a control panel and dosing unit.

  • The flat bottom work bowl of the R series enables the processing of large volumes and bulky work pieces as well as sensitive work pieces through optimal  work piece embedding,
  •  By using fan dividers even particularly sensitive work can be processed in the individual chambers

Principles of vibratory finishing

  • Vibratory surface finishing takes place in a work bowl placed on coil springs. The vibratory energy is induced by a special vibratory motor that is mounted in the center of the work bowl. The vibration creates the typical “relative” movement of media against parts. The continuous feeding of water and compound – also known as soap – supports the finishing process.

Applications

  • Rotary vibrators are extremely flexible and versatile mass finishing systems. Applications include: De-burring, grinding, radiusing, general parts cleaning, de-scaling, de-greasing and polishing of stampings, castings, formed, forged and saw-cut parts as well as machined components.
  • Vibratory finishing can be used for all metals, many plastics, ceramics, rubber, wood, stone and glass and can help to achieve a wide range of objectives. Excellent results can be obtained for highly delicate and small components as well as for larger mass made and robust components.Benefits of multi batch systems:

The bulk discharge principle lends itself to one of three process types:

1/ Part on Part processing:

  • This is were the parts to be processed are placed in the bowl without any media to effect either a deburring action for such products as stampings or burnishing for part on part polishing. After processing, parts are simply removed in a single action from the unload gate.

2/ Large and delicate parts:

  • Were larger parts cannot afford to be impinged against each other, the flat bottom process bowl allows the parts to be manually removed after processing.
  • Whilst the machine is running the parts rotate in a spiral motion moving around the bowl. and moving around the channel bringing the part to the surface were they can be easily removed without the need for a separation screen.

3/ Intricate or parts requiring post treatments.

  • By discharging the media and the parts together a longer separation screen can be employed to help remove media from such things as trapped holes or for the use of post treatments such as washing and drying with the added advantage of grading the media to reject undersized pieces to keep the system in an optimum processing condition.
