Description

This Aceti Pad Sander is a versatile industrial finishing machine designed for sanding, satin finishing, grinding and deburring a wide range of components. It is particularly suited to flat and large surfaces such as plates, sheet metal, bars and tubes, as well as fabricated casings, boxes and fairings.

Using a manually operated abrasive belt and pad system, the ART.144 is also ideal for removing weld seams and deburring components following shear, oxyfuel or laser cutting. A motorised support table provides adjustable working height to accommodate different material thicknesses, while compatible with wide range of abrasive belts can be used to achieve different surface finishes (corundum, zirconium, ceramic, diamond, agglomerate, cork, Trizact, Scotch-Brite, etc.).

Operated by the operator, the workpieces are positioned on the support table, which is covered with fireproof material and electrically motorized to adjust the height based on the thickness of the workpieces.

Principle Operation

Featuring a versatile abrasive belt system with a multi-directional contact unit, the belt sander moves up/down and left/right for precise sanding control. The work table also adjusts vertically and forwards/backwards, providing flexible positioning for accurate and consistent surface finishing.
