Description

Aceti Pad Sander / Long Belt Spot Linisher

The ART.144 pad sanding machine allows for finishing and satin-finishing flat surfaces such as plates and sheet metal, bars and tubes with a square or rectangular cross-section, and especially large surfaces such as casings, boxes, and fairings.
In addition to sanding, satin-finishing, and general finishing, it is possible to perform grinding and deburring on parts cut by shear or thermal cutting (such as oxyfuel or laser).
It is also possible to perform deburring to remove weld seams on boxes and fairings.
Belts of any type of abrasive grain (corundum, zirconium, ceramic, diamond, agglomerate, cork, Trizact, Scotch-Brite, etc.) can be used to achieve varying finishes.
The parts are sanded using an abrasive belt and a pad that is manually operated by the operator.
The workpieces are positioned on the support table, which is covered with fireproof material and electrically motorized to adjust the height based on the thickness of the workpieces.
