Description

Side channel vacuum pumps (also called regenerative blowers) are high-efficiency, oil-free devices that move large volumes of air for industrial tasks like CNC routing and wastewater aeration. Manufactured for durability, these virtually maintenance-free pumps use a contact-free impeller to compress air without contaminating it.

How They Work

  • The Impeller: A single spinning wheel acts like a fan inside a circular casing.
  • The Channel: As the wheel spins, it throws air to the outside edges where a "side channel" repeatedly speeds up the air.
  • The Result: This continuous spinning creates powerful, smooth suction( vacuum) or pressure.

Top Uses

  • CNC Machining: Used to hold wooden or plastic sheets firmly in place on the cutting table.
  • Water Treatment: Pumps oxygen into water for fish tanks and sewage treatment plants.
  • Packaging: Helps move or hold light materials during factory assembly.

Common Features

  • Oil-free: They run completely dry. You do not have to add oil.
  • Long life: Because there are no rubbing parts, they can run for over 20,000 hours before needing service.
  • Energy saving: Many use premium ATB electric motors to keep power bills low.
