Description

Rosler R180/530 Vibratory Finishing machine, originally used for medical implant finishing, but suitable for many types of small part finishing to a high standard. These machines can be used for highly polished finished components suitable for any industry including the medical industry.

This direct drive foot mounted system generates powerful vibratory force at relatively low energy costs and allows for a compact cell design. Finish a wide variety of small workpieces produced in small batches or longer units up to 500mm in length.

Principles of Vibratory Finishing

  • Vibratory surface finishing takes place in a work bowl or trough placed on coil springs. The vibratory energy is induced by a special vibratory motor that is mounted on the bowl or trough. The vibration creates the typical relative movement of media against parts.
  • Vibratory finishing can be used for all metals, many plastics, ceramics, rubber, wood, stone and glass and can help to achieve a wide range of objectives. 
  • The continuous feeding of water and compound, such as soap, supports the finishing process.
  • Excellent results can be obtained for highly delicate and small components as well as for larger mass made and robust components.

  • Surface smoothing.

  • De-greasing. 
  • Surface cleaning.
