High capacity dust control is delivered by a 72 cartridge DFO Donaldson extraction system, configured from three 4-24 units and paired with a powerful 75kW fan. Providing exceptional airflow performance for demanding industrial applications.

Donaldson Downflo® Oval Range

The combination of the proprietary ExtraLife Filter Cleaning System with Donaldson Torit’s oval cartridge filters proves to be an unbeatable system.

Oval cartridges now set the standard for industrial dust collection by providing a 25% increase in airflow capacity, improved airflow path, and a 29% increase in pulse cleaning pressure. These high-efficiency oval-shaped cartridge filters are especially well-suited for filtering sub-micron dust.

Pulse Cleaning Technology ExtraLife™ Filter Cleaning System uses proprietary, computer-modelled pulse cleaning technology to easily “pulse off” dust from the surface of the filter, improving filtration efficiency and prolonging filter life. The reverse pulse system maintains optimum filter efficiency by automatically backwashing the filter elements with a 90 psi high pressure jet of compressed air, removing the contaminants and depositing them quickly into the waste collection bucket.

The DFO advantages can be found in the collector’s proprietary design and components. Featuring a ledge-less design in combination with proprietary Ultra-Web® filter media and cleaning technology.

Ultra-Web Dust Filter Cartridges

A wide range of filter media is available from the Ultra web range of cartridges, allowing the DFO to be tailored to meet the exact needs of the nuisance dusts to be extracted. Providing higher efficiency and smaller footprints than any baghouse collector or even other cartridge collectors, DFO adds up to long-term savings and improved performance in many applications.

Including 36 paired filter cartridges each (72 in total) “Ultraweb” cartridge has a filter area of 18.5 m² (190ft² ) giving an overall filter area of 1,480m² (15,930ft²). This unit is capable of extracting within the range of 30,000-50,000 cfm depending on the final set up including system resistance and dust loading.

Maintenance

Easy Maintenance, with the design of the DFO’s quick access covers, filter removal and maintenance is extremely fast with one operation.

Example ATEX Panel Optional ATEX rated explosion relief panels are available through our trusted partner specialising in dust extraction systems. These panels can be installed directly onto the extractor, providing an increased capacity range upgrade for handling potentially flammable or combustible dusts.
