Description

A 8 stage nickel & alloy plating line designed for precision performance, safety and flexibility, it is ideal for research, development and specialist production environments.

Featuring modular construction, the line is manufactured from stainless steel and polypropylene, clad in polished white PVC drip shields to effectively contain spills and drips within the tanks. Flame-retardant materials are incorporated throughout the extraction systems and the majority of the tanks, reinforcing safety across the installation.

Operator access is both practical and efficient. The front of the line is fitted with polished black PVC sliding doors, allowing easy access to control valves and rectifier setting panels positioned in front of each electrolytic tank.

While components are manually transferred between stages, no manual lifting is required. An overhead runway system with a 125kg SWL electric hoist provides powered raise/lower and pull-along traverse, ensuring smooth, safe movement of workpieces along the line.

Each chemical process tank is equipped with fume extraction lip hoods and sliding lids to protect operators and maintain a clean working environment. Dual heating controls manage tank immersion heaters, with integrated sprinkler ports within the fume extraction system to enable fire suppression.

A common freestanding DC power supply distributes power efficiently along the line via an aluminium busbar system, delivering consistent and reliable plating performance across all stages.

A compact, safety-conscious and professionally engineered plating solution, developed within a research and development facility for controlled, high-quality surface finishing applications.

All tanks made of polyphenylene sulphide with internal size of 600mm x 500mm x 1000mm (WxDxH).
