Description

The Carter Environmental Thorn Nonflam Stainless Steel W185 Wet Collector is a robust wet extractor engineered in stainless steel for durability and high-performance dust capture. Featuring an integrated 11kW fan, self-induced wet scrubbing system, and high-efficiency filtration up to 98%, it delivers powerful airflow of 3500 CFM (6000 m³/hr) in a compact, easy-to-maintain unit.

Designed with accessibility and reliability in mind, this wet system utilise a turbulent water bath to effectively strip the air of dust from operations involving polishing, grinding, and de-burring. Suitable for being installed at part of dust generating processes such as a stand alone downdraft bench, or even full dust control booths for larger parts. Also able to be used for other processes that create heavy sparks and dust, such as the cutting, grinding, air arcing, and thermal spraying of various types of metals (like aluminium, magnesium, titanium, zirconium, lithium, and tantalum for example).

The Nonflam wet collector is a self-induced wet scrubber that has been developed over many years to offer the ideal solution to hot gas streams laden with dusts. Potentially explosive dusts such as Titanium and Aluminium can be handled safely and Magnesium can be extracted when fitted with auto water level control.

These high-efficiency collectors can be located inside or outside when fitted with a sump frost protection heater.
