Description

The Air Plants Series of dust control systems are designed to provide economical and effective solutions to a wide variety of dust problems throughout industry. A high quality, compact design solution for dust control problems.

The CEF2 dust control system is a completely self-contained bag fabric filter designed for intermittent duty. Fitter cleaning is automatically activated when the unit is turned off during periods of non-use. The filter bags themselves are available with a wide range of available materials and grades to suit differing processes and materials.

CEF2 dust control units are self-contained and complete including fan, easy access filter assembly, single inlet hopper and waste dust container with quick release sealer gear, acoustic diffuser (Reduces Noise) and Explosion Relief panel (For Use With Explosive dusts) 

Operation

The dust-laden air from the dust generation source is drawn through the inlet to the fitter by the fan. Initially, some pre-separation takes place as heavier dust particles lose momentum and fall into the collection bin or hopper.

Finer dusts are carried up to the filter elements where they are retained on the outer surface of the filter fabric. The cleaned air passes through the filter fabric into the fan chamber and is discharged to atmosphere.

When the fan is switched off, the filter fabric cleaning cycle is automatically activated. The dust collected on the filter face is then dislodged from the filter elements and falls into the collection bin below.
