Description
The Surface Engineering Association coordinated a consortium of 14 UK plating companies to continue using Chromium Trioxide for the electroplating of legacy components such as for classic/vintage cars & motorcycles with the purpose of creating a coating to match the original specification and provide specific performance characteristics.
Derby Plating Services Ltd is one member of that consortium that can continue to use Chromium Trioxide under conditions set out under UK REACH legislation.
Authorisation is from January 2025 with a review period of 12 years.
