Description

The Morrisflex Model 403 is a heavy duty independently controlled dual speed pedestal mounted polishing machine that is equipped with 4 heavy duty bearings for smooth running and a long service life.

  • This traditionally built heavy duty second hand Morrisflex model 403 Polishing lathe is predominately used with polishing mops, buffs and bobs, but can also be used with a wide range of rotary abrasive tools, ie abrasive impregnated nylon wheels, abrasive brushes, flap wheels, deburring wheels, and wire wheels etc.
  • The body of the machine is manufactured from cast aluminium keeping the weight down and offering excellent heat dissipation. The installed twin spindles are powered by dual wound robust high torque motors offering both spindles of speeds of 1450rpm, making them suitable for a wide range of applications and materials.
  • The polisher is suitable for polishing plastics, acrylics and other soft material or with larger mops for use on thin materials and stainless steel.
  • This option can also used with the attached contact wheel for the use of abrasive belt linishing and grinding.

  • Recommended contact wheel/buff diameters: 250 mm with taper spindle ends or 350 mm with parallel ends.

Additional fitted optional extra's

  • Parallel or tapered spindles ends can be used.
