Overview

  • Explosion Proof Version - ATEX II 2 G For Recycling of Flammable and Non-Flammable solvents.
  • SOLUTEX solvent distillers make recycling your solvents simple. You can recover most, if not all, of your used solvent so that it’s as good as new and ready for reuse. And, whilst helping the environment you’ll also significantly reduce your costs by reducing both your waste disposal volume and your purchases of new solvent.

Process 

The process is easy,

  1. Place a RECBAG inside the machine boiler.
  2. Load your dirty solvent into the boiler and close the lid.
  3. Turn the machine on by setting the timer. In less than five hours you’ll have your clean solvent ready to use again.

Operation

  • The waste contents, held in the RECBAG, can now be easily removed and disposed of keeping everything clean and tidy.
  • When working with flammable solvents in any way, it’s important to follow safety regulations for explosive atmospheres. As such, SOLUTEX machines are all ATEX II 2G certified for use in Zone 1.
  • Equipment is supplied fully assembled and ready to work, simply connect to a single phase 230 volt electric power supply.
  • Costing approximately 18p per litre of solvent to recycle, your savings can quickly add up and the original outlay for the machine quickly surpassed.
  • Add in the benefits to the environment and complete control over your solvent stock, then it makes sense to start recycling.
  • Low maintenance system with service recommended every 2000 working hours only.
  • SAFE Equipment features various safety protection systems to safeguard the operator and allow it to be operated unattended.
  • Load Capacity 30 litres. Boiler Capacity 43 litres The model designation of our machines denotes the load capacity, therefore the model Di30Ax holds 30 litres.
  • All of our machines feature a tipping boiler for easy unloading of residues and boiler maintenance. Spring loaded locking pin for setting boiler at different angles for maintenance or unloading.
  • The Di 30 Ax is controlled by two easy settings. Simply set time and temperature on the control panel to start. The cycle is automatic and the machine stops at the end of cycle. Temperature: 50 - 180°C (T3) Time: 0 – 5 hours.
  • Display includes: total run time, process timer, alarm and service due indicator.
  • Gauges for working temperature and vapour temperature. A thermostat regulates the working temperature of the unit by means of a sensor inside the diathermic oil which surrounds the boiler.
  • A second thermostat monitors any failure in the working thermostat and shuts down the unit in case of a malfunction.
  • A third thermostat measures the temperature of the out-flowing distillate. If there is a malfunction of the condenser (e.g. ventilation fan stops working) the plant stops automatically. This prevents any non-condensed hazardous vapours entering the atmosphere.
  • The boiler cover acts as the safety over-pressure valve, locked by a lid locking device with a spring that opens at 0.1 bar of over-pressure. The special device avoids pressure build-up in the boiler during the distillation process (working at atmospheric pressure).
