Description

This pre-owned Microsolve Ultrasonic Solvent system provides a solvent cleaning stage, followed by vapour rinsing and freeboard dry.

In the first cleaning stage a mixture of HFE and a hydrocarbon solvating agent removes gross contamination from the components.

Solvent retention features unique to the Microsolve range–triple coil reflux cooling, vapour break, 150% freeboard, ensure that systems are safe and comply fully with environmental and safety legislation.

These design features also mean that Microsolve systems are able to operate with low, predictable solvent usage and customers enjoy low, predictable running costs.

Large quantities of dirt and oils can be taken up by the solvating agent, making the process particularly suitable for heavy duty ultrasonic cleaning applications.

Typical applications include bearings, gyro components and precision medical components; maintenance cleaning of pneumatic and hydraulic components; and, in electronics, flux removal from PCBs or from soldering jigs and fixtures.

Automating the cleaning process reduces running costs on multi-stage systems by assuring consistent, repeatable quality, reducing reject rates, and increasing throughput.
With Microsolve systems further cost reductions result from controlling the speed of basket entry and withdrawal from the vapour zone, thus reducing solvent drag-out and losses to the atmosphere caused by disturbance of the vapour blanket.

Programming Features of the Autotrans MK4

  • Digital control system reduces wire complexity, ensures signal integrity and allows control functions to be modularised.
  • Touch sensitive programming key board with LCD sixteen line programming function and prompt display.
  • Program storage and security is provided by a smartcard
  • Password protection to prevent unauthorised program interference.
  • Standard specification allows sixteen programmable 1/0 functions and sixteen flags. The flags can be used for basket position recognition and process timing.
  • Full edit facilities including position, dwell times and function controls.
  • Infinitely variable programmable motor speed control
  • True servo motors with built-in positional encoder ensures positional accuracy to +/- 1mm.
  • Over travel protection and automatic datuming upon machine installation. RS 232 Interface
  • Intelligent basket processing allows simultaneous management of varying load types and application of appropriate processing parameters (immersion times, sonics program etc).
