Description

The Henri Petit-Jean machinery stocked by Riley Surface World is available as

One Combination of Oil and Suds Lines
OR
Two Individual Automatic Swarf Centrifuge Line for SudsAutomatic Swarf Centrifuge Line for Oil Lines

The machinery was installed at IMI Norgren in Lichfield, UK, working as a pair of lines processing brass swarf. The machines are suitable for alternative processes and are offered as a combination or individually to support your needs.
The engineers responsible for their maintenance are available to support reinstallation.

Combination of two heavy duty swarf processing units, these can be used in conjunction with each other or separately. Ideal for brass with either cutting oil or suds, each plant is capable of spinning the swarf to less than 3% moisture content. Getting you more for your swarf value & saving costs on recovering your cutting fluid.

Process

  • Oil soaked swarf is removed from the production machine and loaded into the hopper.
  • Twin screws turn and move the swarf onto a metal lifting belt.
  • The metal lifting belt lifts the swarf up above the centrifuge.
  • The swarf is deposited onto a vibrating separating riddle which sifts out any components and bar ends from the swarf.
  • All the swarf passes through the separator and falls into the centrifuge.
  • High spinning speed in the centrifuge forces the swarf onto the sides of the drum and any fluid is presses out of the drum through the small holes.
  • Any fluid is collected in the tanks below and is then pumped back into a storage tank for re-use.
  • The dry swarf falls through the centrifuge and is conveyed into skips for sale or processing as required.

Hoppers

  • Each hopper is approx. 3300mm x 1900mm and can hold up to 4 tonnes in weight.
  • They each have two archimedes screw convers.
  • A single 1.1kW electric motor drives the two conveyors via a 1" double width chain drive.
  • Each hopper sits in a 8 legged steel support frame.

Metal Belt Lifting Conveyor WL350

  • Frame is robustly constructed from high quality steel welded sections.
  • Metal belt is manufactured from steel 'hinged' pieces with support struts positioned at regular intervals to prevent slippage down the belt.
  • Driven by a 0.55kW CAD48M80S4 motor.
  • Speed of 8.1 Rev/Min.
  • Lifting height of approx. 3045mm.
  • Blocking detector.
  • Lifting pump, Brinkmann TE145/270 2.2kW.
  • Rinsing pump, Sacemi SP75-270 078kW.

Solid Parts Separator NGR-SPO

  • Parallel rod mesh separator, MGR-SP2
  • 4 spring mounting system.
  • Vibrator Netter NEG-25210.

Centrifuges

  • Drive motor, Hanning ZG 25X-8K-168.
  • Interlocking lid, Rockwell 440G-T27121.
  • Omron unbalance sensor.
  • Mounted on shock absorbers.
  • Variable speed drive.

Exit Conveyor

  • Metal belt conveyor.
  • 0.75kW drive motor.
