Description

A second hand DCE C24-2 G8 Reinforced dust extraction unit with an ATEX rated explosion relief panel and reinforced door bars. Featuring a powerful 5.5kW 7.5Hp motor.

The  DCE C24-2 G8 is a compact, self contained Unicell filter modules and dust control unit complete with 5.5kW // 7.5Hp fan, self cleaning mechanism, ATEX rated explosion relief panel, easy-access filter assembly, & a 3ft³ waste container bucket with quick-release sealer gear and bucket balance facility.

Principal of operation

  • Dust laden air is pulled into the chamber containing the filter modules, where it impinges on outer surfaces of the filter modules. This layer of dust builds up as the air passes through the filter and if discharged to atmosphere.
  • At regular intervals, governed by the controller, each filter module in turn receives a short burst of compressed air from its respective jet tube.
  • This causes a brief, powerful reversal of air flow through the filter module, effectively dislodging the dust layer which then falls into the collection hopper at the bottom of the machine.
  • This cleaning action means that the dust collector can operate constantly without a need to stopping for cleaning.

  • Explosion relief panel allows the unit to be safely used with potentially explosive dusts and gases, such as those generated like aluminium and flour dusts in an air enriched environment.
  • Silencer box reduces noise levels in the environment.
  • Quick release lever allows for easy removal and maintenance of bin.
  • Inlet deflector knocks down larger particles into the hopper reducing bag abrasion and increasing filter life.
  • Integrated pulse controller for pulse jet cleaning system.
  • Heavy-duty filter modules.
