Description

A Climavent / lakestyle downdraught fettling booth. Ideal for any fettling operation where nuisance dusts are created and need to be safely removed from the operating environment. Needs to be connected to a suitable dust extraction unit.

The fan-less downdraft tables are designed to provide efficient capture of dusts, fumes, and gas/vapours generated from a variety of manufacturing operations and processes such as:

  • Buffing
  • Grinding
  • Sanding
  • Cutting
  • Polishing
  • Glueing
  • Bonding
  • Mixing
  • Certain welding applications

The industrial grade downdraft tables address the indoor air quality issues in the workplace by:

  • Reducing the risk of operator exposure to harmful substances.
  • The capture of metal dust from deburring/grinding; welding smoke capture; fume and vapour reduction.
  • Drawing polluted air away from operator breathing zones.
  • Flexible to accommodate various sizes and types of production equipment.
  • Increasing employee and operator safety and comfort levels.
  • Operating at a comfortable noise level.
  • Outlet at the right hand side with Ø200mm ducting for ease of connection to a suitable extractor.

UB Series Down Draught Benches for Hazardous Dust

Climavent's UB Series Down Draught Benches are designed for hazardous dust applications including fettling and grinding stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, aluminium and cast iron. To protect the workers, and the workplace itself, from the risk of explosive dust and sparks, the benches can be supplied alongside the LW series wet collectors. The setup is an ideal solution for the explosive nature associated with certain hazardous dust applications.
