Description

Sonikem Small DI System

A Mixed-bed deionising and ultraviolet sterilisation plant manufactured by Sonikem,  has multiple applications in water treatment systems and industrial processes where water quality is a key component.

The plant consists of a mixed bed deionising cylinder containing a mixed bed resin and controlled by a LTE Electronics BXD 17 panel mounted controller.

Complimenting the plant is a 300 litre polypropylene tank with level control and an Aquada 2 ultraviolet disinfection unit.

The unit consists of the following major components

Mixed Bed Deionising Cylinder.

Supplied by Allwater technologies Ltd, it consists of a single DI cylinder containing 15 litres of mixed deionising media.

LTE Electronics BXD 17 Controller

The BXD17 is a microprocessor-controlled instrument range offering individual controllers for the measurement of contact conductivity. To achieve this, the instrument utilises a clear multifunction LCD to display the primary and operational status readings, whilst also to providing an intuitive user interface.

 Process Tank

A 300 litre black polypropylene storage tank, complete with[ 

  • Level controls
  • Markings  indicating volume measurements in 100 litre graduations on the side of the tank
  • Multiple ¾” BSPT inlet and outlet pipes and a 2”BSPT overflow pipe.
  • Mounted on a moulded pallet for ease of transport and installation.

Water circulation pump

A Pan World NH-200PS-Z sealess magnetic pump, specifically designed for handling chemicals and other fluids

Featuring a Polypropylene pump body and integrated AC motor, it offers a maximum head of 12.5 meters and a maximum flow rate of approximately 35 to 40 L/min. 

The NH-200PS-Z is designed for applications that require leakage-free operation and corrosion resistance
