Rösler Vibratory Finishing is a process that works on a chemical-mechanical basis to finish surfaces. In the work bowl of a vibratory finishing machine, work pieces, media, water, and compound are put into motion by a vibratory drive system. This causes a constant relative movement of the media and the workpieces. The interaction of water, compound, media and machine produces the required surface finish.

Rösler rotary vibrators can be adapted to automated processing at any time with modular auxiliary systems for loading, unloading, rinsing, drying and other "pre-" and "post-finish" operations. Sturdy and easy to operate, Rösler provides vibratory installations for a wide range of applications. A wide variety of part shapes and sizes can be finished to any kind of surface requirements.

Vibratory surface finishing takes place in a work bowl placed on coil springs. The vibratory energy is induced by a special vibratory motor that is mounted in the centre of the work bowl.

The vibration creates the typical “relative” movement of media against parts. The continuous feeding of water and compound – also known as soap – supports the finishing process. Rotary vibrators are extremely flexible and versatile mass finishing systems.

Applications Include:

  • De-burring
  • Grinding
  • Radiusing
  • General parts cleaning
  • De-scaling
  • De-greasing and polishing of stampings
  • Castings
  • Formed, forged and saw-cut parts as well as machined components

Vibratory finishing can be used for all metals, many plastics, ceramics, rubber, wood, stone and glass and can help to achieve a wide range of objectives. Excellent results can be obtained for highly delicate and small components as well as for large and robust parts.

  • Rösler double-flange vibratory motor
  • Forward and reverse running
  • Variable drive unit weights allow different grinding and unload intensities
  • Bottom unload gates allow complete evacuation of the work bowl and external separation of media from parts (option)
  • Wear resistant lining made from hot poured polyurethane
  • Integrated effluent drain
  • Media dosing system
  • Control panel
  • Process timer
