Description

20 pieces of open mesh GRP grating measuring approx. 3m x 1.3m at 38mm thick, plus 4 pieces at 3m x 1m. All with 32mm open square mesh apertures.

  • Heavy Duty GRP Grating Panels are known for their incredible strength, durability & impact resistance. 
  • The panels are lightweight and offer incredible strength and load-bearing characteristics. 
  • Fibreglass Moulded Grating Panels are Corrosion and Fire Resistant (Compliant to: ASTM E 84). This offers a low maintenance and high performance option for a structural GRP Grating System in the most aggressive industrial environments.

Common Uses: 

  • The GRP Grating panels are most commonly used across all types of external walkway and gantry areas, pontoons, platforms & riser voids in commercial and industrial environments.
  • The FRP / GRP (Glass-Reinforced-Plastic) Fibreglass Material is highly effective and resistant in even the harshest environments with minimal on-going maintenance required.
  • Fibreglass (GRP) Gratings are oil and chemical resistant, meaning they are popular for use within oil rigs, chemical plants, and industrial facilities. This is due to strong chemical resistance, and resistance to corrosion.

Characteristics & Properties

  • Zero maintenance – FRP walkways require minimal on-going maintenance and is easy to clean.
  • Lightweight – GRP mesh flooring offers a much higher strength to weight ratio than the steel alternative. There is no need for heavy equipment when lifting our GRP grating.
  • Impact resistance - GRP grating has high energy absorption capabilities, meaning the grating can be struck with causing any immutable damage.
  • Non-conductive, non-sparking characteristics – Acts as a highly effective electric, magnetic, and thermal insulator as the product is not affected by electric currents, magnetic fields, or radio frequency waves. This makes the GRP grating system useful for electrically hazardous sites.
  • Excellent corrosion resistance – Highly tolerant in even the most aggressive environments. Our grating has total resistance against chloride ion attacks demonstrates its durable nature and ability to withstand harsh conditions.
  • Sturdy construction – 38mm thick mesh panels are designed with a 38mm x 38mm square profile, with 32mm x 32mm Internal apertures.
