Description

The Fanuc ArcMate 100iB is a six-axis, modular construction, electric servo-driven welding robot that was designed with high speed in mind. Compact and flexible, the ArcMate 100iB robot is capable of high speed welding and cutting yet precise enough to handle pick and place applications. The ArcMate 100iB has a relatively lightweight payload ability at 6kg, which makes it perfect for welding applications.

Furthermore, the wire feed motor mounts directly to the top arm with added durability through the use of sealed bearings and protected drives. Its high speed wrist axes reduce haircut times and improve the overall throughput. The ARC Mate 100iB RJ3iB Fanuc robots also have extremely narrow wrists, making the inside of parts or other machines easily accessible. It offers a very large work envelope that is useful for large parts or tooling. There are also gas/airlines and a Lincoln Electric wire feed motor cable routed inside the robot arm, helping to improve overall reliability and eliminate external cabling requirements.

The benefits don't stop here! The TurboMove advanced servo control features enable quick and smooth point-to-point motion to increase arc on time and throughput. The Lincoln Electric's Power Wave TM or STTTM power source keeps things simple with its plug and play ability.

The Fanuc R-J3iB uses advanced technology packaged in a proven, reliable and efficient controller design. Process capability and open architecture features provide intelligence to improve application and motion performance while simplifying system integration. The R-J3iB Controller incorporates the concept of the plug-in option, which allows flexibility for application specific configurations while maintaining a commonality for all users of the system.

Additionally, the R-J3iB supports both analogue and digital input and output modules while also allowing the addition of optional process I/O boards, as necessary.

The controller cabinet has an operator panel that provides easy, intuitive buttons with flashing LEDs to indicate operating and cycle conditions. This helps simplify daily operations, such as simply powering up, running a program, and powering down.

Connected to the controller cabinet via a cable (internally connecting to the controller's Main CPU board), the teach pendant enables the performance of operations away from the controller. The teach pendant can teach program data, test and debug programs, and adjust variables with its 16-line by 40-character LCD display, menu-driven function keys, keypad keys, and status LEDs. Additionally, this pendant can monitor and control I/O to control EOATs and display current information on the status or position of the robot.
