Description

DraftMax Eco is a downdraft workbench with an integrated spark arrester but contains no filter cartridges. DraftMax Eco is suited for ductwork. It has to be connected to an external fan and filtration system, such as the SCS or MDB filtration unit. 

Ideally suited for welding applications to provide a safe working environment for the operators so that welding fumes are extracted via the rear of the unit and any sparks fall below the working grid. Approx. 80% of the air is extracted through the backdraft panel and 20% through the work grid.

  • The two end panels can be swung around to aid cleaning or to enable longer workpieces to be placed onto the bench.
  • The removable grids can be lifted out to aid in cleaning.
  • A Chevron airflow LEV monitor is fitted to show the efficiency of the unit and to indicate when the extraction needs to be cleaned.
  • Double  240 Volt electrical plug socket.

Importance of Dust Extractors
