Description
Deionized Water Plant
This plant is currently installed to supply DI Water to HydraPower Dynamics Pre-Treatment Plant and is available by negotiation.
A purpose built DI water plant capable of providing 3 to 5 liters per minute of high quality DI water, typically less than 5 microsiemens conductivity in this application.
The unit itself has a footprint of 1300mm x 750mm and is 1300mm high.
The mains water supply enters the unit and flows sequentially through:
- Particulate/sediment filter rated at 5 microns with pressure gauge
- Carbon/organics filter rated at 5 microns with pressure gauge
- RO Membrane Filter
- Ion Exchange Resin Vessel
The unit is fitted with digital flow and conductivity meters.
The output of purified water flows to a storage bank of six IBC’s giving a total 6000 litres of storage. These have a footprint of 3000mm x 3300mm and are protected by painted steel barrier fixed to the factory floor. The storage IBC’s are all interlinked by a pipework manifold connected to a stainless steel centrifugal booster pump complete with pressure control. This pump transfers the DI water to the distribution manifold on the line. The transfer system includes a solenoid shutoff valve to prevent tanks from being overfilled. A quantity of spare particulate and carbon filters are available with the DI plant.
