Successful and cost effective decommissioning of the plant to provide the client with cleared space, in line with factory clearance timelines.

Details

In association with Peaker Pattinson auctioneers Riley Surface World was asked to provide specialist knowledge and decommissioning services for the removal of this Acid Picking Line and associated plant.

A significant part of the facility was being restructured with machine tooling assets disposed of via auctions run by long term partners Peaker Pattison.

Riley Surface World has been tasked with maximising the value of this specialist part of the project by finding a buyer from their global network of surface finishing manufacturers.

Regardless of whether a sale was achieved Rileys Surface World was also tasked with managing the safe and environmental decommissioning of the plant.

Regrettably the marketing and sale of this plant was interrupted by Covid so although parts of the plant were sold a complete sale was not achieved.
