Description

A rare opportunity to acquire a complete set of heavy duty surface treatment immersion tanks manufactured by leading UK plant supplier Malthouse Engineering. Designed for durability and flexibility, these tanks feature robust mild steel construction with chemical resistant polypropylene liners, making them ideal for a wide range of processing applications.

Tanks available for £1350 (+VAT) each, including free loading to your suitable transport vehicle.

 

Available for £1,350 per tank, each tank is equipped with high and low level inlet/outlet ports at one end, allowing easy integration into existing or new process lines. The tanks are unused, with brand new liners that have never been exposed to chemicals. Eliminating the need for time consuming cleaning or preparation prior to use.

Construction & Design

Built for long-term industrial use, the tanks are fully seam welded in 6mm thick mild steel and reinforced with substantial structural supports. Each unit sits on four 150mm high ‘I’ beams and is laterally braced with stitch-welded box sections for added rigidity and stability. A robust lip, formed from 75 x 75 x 6mm angle, provides additional strength and handling ease.

Most tanks are fitted with a welded overflow boss (30mm ID) complete with a 130mm 4-bolt polypropylene flange.

Lining

The tanks are internally lined with 6mm polypropylene (PP), featuring a 90mm lip for secure coverage and excellent chemical resistance across a variety of surface treatment processes.
