Description

A heavy duty industrial air cleaner for effectively separating oil mists, oil fumes and emulsion mists during continuous operations. There are three filter stages with differential pressure gauges at each step. 

The primary and secondary filters consist of various types and combinations of filter media and are designed specifically to handle the most demanding operating applications and processes. The unique structure of the filters allows for extreme loading of oil fumes and oilmist. The first filter stage collects the oil or coolant and allows it to drain back to the base of the unit. The filters do not absorb the oil but coalesce it until it is heavy enough to drain against the airflow back to the base of the unit and then into a suitable collector or the sump of the machine.

The second stage is designed to completely clean the air to a far higher standard than the surrounding air. Using the Hepa filter, this final stage ensures that any fine or sub-micron particles i.e. trace oil, smoke, bacteria, pollen and spores are trapped and not allowed to return to the surrounding atmosphere.

All ScandMist units are fitted with a HEPA filter rated H13. Servicing all the filters is made easy using a secure front hatch, and a system which employs a parallelogram, ensuring repeatable airtight sealing.
