Riley Pressure Blast Cabinet

Riley's pressure blast cabinet are highly durable, rigid and tightly sealed, fabricated and welded in 2mm mild steel and finished to the highest quality standards for a long service life.

A front mounted door, constructed from 4mm mild steel provides excellent access to the working chamber for easy loading and unloading of components and reduces floor space requirements.

These pressure shot blast cabinets include an 8 litre pressure pot, large dust collector, exceptional component entry facilities and sleeved armholes which provide safe and comfortable operator access.

Shot blasting equipment offers a faster alternative to labour intensive operations such as hand deburring, scraping and wire brushing, chemical cleaning, acid etching or dipping, liquid honing, knife trimming, sanding, grinding and many others.

Applications

It is ideal for component producers, reconditioners and re-manufacturers seeking to replace these slower and more labour intensive methods.

Typical process is as follows:

1. Blast finishing uses compressed air to propel blast media directly at the component through an exclusively designed blast gun.
2. These clean and safe operations are housed in an illuminated cabinet from which dust is constantly removed and the blast media recycled to provide a continuous and reliable cleaning and finishing system.
3. Riley Shot blast installations, can use a wide selection of blast media at alternative pressures.

Matched & Balanced Dust Collector

When it comes to choosing the correct dust collector, following factors are very important: 

• Cabinet size 
• Air input through the blast gun
• The application and whether the cabinet usage is intermittent, regular or continuous 

The dust collector has been designed and developed to match the operational and environmental requirements of the system. 

Using the correctly matched dust collector provides the system with good visibility in the blast chamber and a clean operating environment in the workshop.

The extracted airflow drawn by the dust collector is carefully balanced with the media, reclamation and the cabinet to ensure that a minimum of reusable blast media is removed.

12 filter bags are included with a manual shaker for easy cleaning and low maintenance requirements.

Service Requirements - What You Will Need to Run A Riley 1200 Pressure Blast Cabinet

Air Supply

• The Riley 1200 Pressure Blast Cabinet will be supplied with a half inch BSP male fitting and 3m of air pipe
• You will require a half inch BSP female fitting attached to your air supply
• The air tap should be no more than 3m away from where the machine will be sited
• The air line should not be restricted by smaller diameter fittings (push connectors)
• Your compressor should have a dryer fitted and should be able to produce 18 - 30CFM

Electrical Supply

• You will need a 230V 3 pin blue socket
• The cabinet will be supplied with a single phase 230v Blue 3 pin plug attached
