Water chillers play an essential role in many surface finishing and coating processes. In wet treatments such as electroplating and electropolishing the process temperature of the water and chemicals is critical in determining the consistency of the coating finishes on many components.

Water chillers can be attached to wet treatment tanks in coating, anodising and plating lines to maintain a consistent temperature. They can also be associated with a complete water treatment plant that is feeding the wet treatment line in order to monitor the water temperature all the way through the plating or coating process.

Process cooling is also associated with other pre and post treatment stages in the surface finishing procedure.

Aqueous, ultrasonic and solvent cleaning systems often work in conjunction with process cooling in order to achieve the very finest quality results.

The same criteria apply in areas such as mass finishing, wet blasting, wet paint and powder coating. Anywhere that effective surface preparation is essential.
