European Association of Machine Tool MerchantsRiley Surface World is an active member of the European Association of Machine Tool Merchants.

The EAMTM is a European-wide organisation with nearly 300 member companies. It has been in existence for over 25 years and is the leading international body for used industrial machine tool equipment.

Riley Surface World adheres to the strict codes of conduct and ethics that are expected by the association. It also plays an active role in the organisation, particularly in the UK, where Michael Riley is Chairman of the EAMTM UK Midlands region.

Surface Engineering Association (SEA)

Surface Engineering AssociationRiley Surface World plays an active role in the Surface Engineering Association through its membership of the associated body, the British Surface Treatment Suppliers Association (BSTSA). The SEA is the UK's leading authoritative body for the Surface Coating and Metal Finishing industries.

As well as the BSTSA, the SEA also incorporates the Metal Finishing Association (MFA), the Paint and Powder Finishing Association (PPFA) and the Contract Heat Treatment Association (CHTA).

All of these organisations provide an unrivalled source of technical support and knowledge for the benefit of the whole industry. Among the services provided by the SEA are:

  • Watchword - a quarterly review of legislative matters and environmental issues
