Description

A Guyson T40 Tumbleblast is for suction venturi blasting bead and grit when surface processing batches of small metal components. Tumbling the components inside a rotating drum whilst being blasted to achieve the required surface finish.

Applications

  • The Tumbleblast system is ideal for cleaning, deburring, de-flashing, cosmetic finishing or surface treatment on small metal components such as aerospace fasteners, screws, bolts, nuts, washers, circlips, carabiners etc.
  • Guyson's T40 Tumbleblast machine offers highly effective batch blast finishing of small components.

Process

  • The components are loaded into the process barrel whereby they are gently rotated exposing all faces to the constant blast stream from the blast gun. A variable tumble speed is set via the control panel dial.
  • The blast cycle is controlled via a process timer offering consistent and repeatable results. 
  • Once the blast exposure time has been achieved a second timer is automatically employed to air wash the parts free from any dust and blast media. 
  • Once the full cycle has been completed the barrel is removed and the parts tipped out ready for the the next operation.

  • The matched dust extractor is an 8 bag system with a manual shaker for dislodging particles into the dust collection drawer at the base of the unit.
