Description

Electro Brightening Plant consisting of a number of High quality Large 3m x 3m Stainless Steel and Polypropylene Process & Treatment Tanks

Chemical Polishing
Chemical Polishing produces a bright, reflective surface on a wide range of alloys based
on aluminium of commercial, or higher purity by a simple dipping operation.

The degreeof brightness obtained is superior to that produced by mechanical polishing, and fine
scratches and other imperfections are removed. Chemical polishing is an essential
operation in the production of bright anodising for automobile parts and consumer
durables, as well as for colour anodised goods.

The process utilises a mixture of Phosphoric/Sulphuric and Nitric Acids plus other additives operating at 98 degrees Celsius and therefore is operated in an enclosed extraction canopy to ensure no escape of fumes into the work place. Matched to the canopy is an extraction system with duplex fume scrubbing towers and duty and standby fans designed and tested in operation to fully meet UK environmental discharge to atmosphere requirements.
