Description

A Romer general purpose electric batch oven of 225°C. Ideal for a vast range of low temperature thermal processes such as drying, curing and pre-heating.

These ovens are from the well respected Polish manufacturer Romer and include upgraded controls and build features for the UK market, as designed by Riley Surface World.

Constructed from a heavy duty steel box sectioned frame with infilled 240mm walls and 400mm roof thick insulated galvanized panels and externally clad in a hard wearing powder coated finish.

During use air is circulated around the oven by a roof mounted fan through adjustable hot air vents in the side panels.
Ventilation of air during or after the cycle is passive, with programmable vents and forced air ventilation.

The MTS + ThPID iCure Controller included improves the functionality of the oven by offering user control of all of the processing parameters and well as offering full tractability not only of the process but also power consumption. The controller comes complete with additional PC software, so any data stored in the controller can be recorded and transferred to your own PC for review and archiving.

Controls

  • ThPID control system offsets the effect of heating inertia called hysteresis. The standard solution is based on a circuit that switches elements. on and off with constant power. ThPID dynamically adjusts the voltage at the setpoint temperature reducing power user and increasing accuracy.
