Description
The Sensotronic was the first twin sump immersion cleaning system to incorporate the technical capability of running most non flammable solvents via a simple temperature adjustment.
This opens up a huge market in electronics or any precision cleaning application where a solvent process is deemed necessary. Its unique patented design maximises output efficiency whilst minimising energy and solvent emissions.

Capacities
- Boiling Sump: 18.75 Litres.
- Boiling Immersion: 45 Litres.
- Ultrasonic Immersion Sump: 54.75 Litres.
- Extraction Ducting: Ø150mm.
Process Cycle
- Lower components into the boiling sump (left) for the desired vapour cleaning time.
- Transfer the components to the ultrasonic distillation immersion tank (right) and start the ultrasonics for the desired time.
- Raise the components to the vapour area for between 15 and 30 seconds.
- Lift the components to the freeboard area of the tank and watch them dry usually between 1 and 4 minutes.
Solvents/Cleaning
- Most none flammable solvents can be used.
- Primary fridge 1.8kg of R404A refrigerant.
- Secondary ultra low-temperature freeboard fridge.
- A quick and easy method of removing tar, oil, grease and other insoluble solids from all types of components.
Ultrasonics
- Powered by a Crest 'trusweep' adjustable generator.
- Frequency range 38-42kHz.
- Ultrasonic output power 500 watts.
- 240Volt.
Summary of Vapour Degreasing
Rated for its effectiveness against oils and grease, vapour degreasing is a process that is closely related to water-based degreasing but uses non-flammable solvent instead of water based solutions.
Taking place in a twin slump tank, vapour degreasing is made up of two stages (minimum), rinse and vapour. The simplicity of the process is a major contributing factor to its success as it is known as a very effective and reliable cleaning method.
