Description

Vixen's Jetwash FL200 Front Loading Machine

The phosphate machine is front loading with a 2m diameter basket. The basket is static and a the wash boom rotates around this during the clean and phosphate stages.

This range of phosphating machines were developed so that customers incur low running costs and eradicate any chlorinated solvent-related health and safety issues, with the added bonus of better paint adhesion.

This Vixen phosphating machines operate in a three-stage cycle: hot washing with a phosphate solution, hot rinsing and then hot passivation solution.

Stage 1. Electrically heated rotating boom spray wash with top spinning "U" shaped and "T" bar boom beneath giving a 360° degree high pressure spray wash pattern.

Stage 2. Electrically heated rotating boom spray rinse with top spinning "U" shaped and "T" bar boom beneath giving a 360° degree high pressure spray wash pattern.

Stage 3. Electrically heated static spray hot passivation solution with top and bottom spidered booms.

Scope of work

Vixen's Jetwash FL200 phosphating machine consists of a 3 stage cycle; hot washing with a phosphate solution, hot rinse and hot passivation seal solution to provide better paint and coatings adhesive properties to manufactured components.

The Jetwash FL200 is a front loading wash and coatings machine with uprising guillotine door which is operated by a pneumatic cylinder and two handed safety control unit, preventing any entrapment risks to the operator.

The design of the machine allows easy loading of heavy components. The machine is supplied with a front loading cart allowing product to be loaded by either fork lift or overhead crane.

Process controls can be set via a digital timer and temperature controls through an LCD display linked to a PCB touch sensitive keypad.

Although primarily designed as a phosphate coating machine the 3 stage wash could readily be used for other types of coatings and surface finishes such as chromates or as a simply hot wash and secondary final rinse (de ionised water for a stain free finish).
