Description

The 260 litre vibratory bowl with separation and unload is designed for processing both smaller-medium size components and lower volume batches as well as protypes. Well suited for process metallic components and Additive Manufactured 3D printed components alike.

Due to their specially designed process channel, the EC rotary vibrators are truly general purpose machines. The relatively shallow incline of the process channel allows the processing and separation of small as well as large parts. They are also ideally suited for finishing of delicate parts.

The machine is positioned at a very comfortable operator working height and has a manual operated unload chute, which provides lift to the spacious interchangeable separation sieve screen providing efficient evacuation of components and return of media to the process bowl. A high level specification finishing machine.

The acoustic noise reduction semi-enclosure offers excellent noise suppression.

Suitable for a wide range of applications including:

  • Deburring
  • Flash Removal
  • Polishing
  • Grinding
  • Smoothing
  • Superfinishing
  • Edge Breaking
  • Surface Blending
  • Pre-Anodised and Chemical Plate Finishes
  • Metallics, Ceramics and Additive Manufactured 3D Printed Components

Main Features:

  • 260 Litre moulded cast polyurethane lining for inner chamber protection
  • Manually operated and reinforced unload chute.
  • Components and media separation sieve screen.
  • Oil and abrasion resistant working bowl for longer life.
  • Acoustic noise reduction lid.
  • Twin speed, 1000 rev / min or 1500 rev / min.
  • Dosing Unit to ensure controlled delivery of water and liquid compound dosing.
  • Compact equipment stand with control panel and metering station.
  • 2.4kW Drive motor
  • Internal diameter 1170mm
  • Process bowl width 300mm, height 1250mm
  • Max charge 380Kgs

What is Vibratory Deburring & Polishing?

Vibratory processing machines use predominantly mechanical energy, rather than more aggressive chemical/thermal energy to clean products, however this rotary vibratory process is an extremely flexible and versatile mass finishing system.

Applications include; deburring, grinding, radiusing, general parts cleaning, descaling, degreasing and polishing of stampings, castings, as well as machined components.

Excellent results can be obtained for highly delicate and small components as well as for large and robust parts.

In this batch type process, specially profiled media and components are placed in the trough or work bowl, which is mounted on coil springs. The vibratory energy is induced by a special vibratory motor that shakes and moves the processing bowl.

This vibration creates the typical ‘scrubbing’ movement of media against parts, whilst the continuous feeding of water and compound removes waste dirt and grease particles away from the components, for subsequent treatment and re-use.
