This dust extractor with fan and filters offers pulse jet cleaning with a capacity up to from 8000 m³/h. The extraction unit is fitted with tubular filter bags manufactured from needle-felt and is suitable for high concentrations of difficult dusts. The filters offer reliable, continuous service. The design ensures clean internal profiles without dust traps and clean side removal of filter bags.

During normal operation

During normal operation, the dust laden air from the plant travels down the supply duct and enters the plant via a vertical slotted baffle which allows the inlet section to slows the airstream and directs the heavier dust particles downward into the hopper, thus protecting the bags from direct abrasion but allowing air to pass horizontally between the bags.
The lighter dust collects on the outside of the tubular bag as clean air passes through to the inside of the bags and out of the chamber .
Finally, the clean air travels through the air outlet where it may be returned to the plant or exhausted outdoors .
The heavier dust settles in the hopper section where it can be discharged into the collection bin.

Filter works...while cleaning

This unit uses compressed air cleaning to clean itself even whilst the machine is in operation. A compressed air line is connected to one end of the compressed air manifold. The control panel calls for the solenoid valve to open allowing the compressed air from the manifold to then release into the jet tubes . The jet tubes are aligned above each row of the 64 filter bags. The downward blast blows the dust off the tubular filter bag (from the inside out) where
it settles into the hopper section to be collected in the metal bin.
