Description

A W80/3kW Dustcheck-Nonflam wet collector unit, including Magnesium Water Level Controls - suitable for extracting Titanium or Aluminium dust and has only been operational for 9 months since its original supply.

The Magnesium Control Box constantly monitors and maintains water level, and also detects whether correct airflow is being achieved, giving an output signal via a volt free contact, to indicate the operational status of the Wet Collector. This signal can be used as desired by the customer, for example wiring of an interlock to their process, or a visual status indicator.

There is also a timer within the Magnesium Control box, to prevent the process from commencing until the fan has been running for one minute, to clear the ductwork system of any residual explosive dust or gas.

Wiring between the Magnesium Control box and the customer’s equipment is the responsibility of the customer.

  •  Filter type - W80/3kW Dustcheck-Nonflam wet dust extract unit, having selfinduced scrubbing action.
  • Constructed in Mild Steel (Painted Dark Grey RAL 7043).
  • The collector will extract an air volume of 2400m3/hr with an external pressure drop of up to 100mm SWG.
  • Motor type and size - 3kW tefc, IP65, wound for 400 volts 3ph 50hz
  •  Included with the unit - Fan set Anti-spark features Top-mounted silencer.
  • Magnesium Water Level Controls. 
  • With discharge spigot Rake Drain valve.
  • Stainless Steel Baffles
