Description
Carlo Banfi Barrel Shot Blasting Machine
The Carlo Banfi TV670 Airless Barrel Shotblast Machine is the ideal solution to clean parts that would normally become pinched or jammed in traditional tumble blast machines, reducing chances of part damage. Barrel machines are designed for easy maintenance to provide shorter downtimes due to the adoption of a cost-effective and space-saving rotating drum system. Versatile, solid manganese drums allow efficient tumbling of parts with no pinch points.
Typical uses for the system includes the removal of sand, scale, rust, and other contaminants from forged, heat treatment, cast and re-manufactured automotive parts.
Applications
- Cleaning
- Corrosion Removal
- Deburring
- Deflashing
- Paint Stripping
- Rust and heat scale removal
Shot Blasting Chamber
The blasting chamber is fabricated by high strengthened steel plates and profile steel which ensures adequate intensity and rigidity of the machine. Blast wheels layout adopts a 3-D dynamic simulation design, which ensures optimal shot blasting angle and distance.
The TV670 adopts an easy replaceable high manganese steel basket in the shot blasting zone, which is hard enough to deal with the shot blasting hardness up to 60HRC.
The material impact toughness can make full use of the reflection kinetic energy of the shot to continue to blast cleaning the surface of the workpiece, so greatly enhancing the cleaning efficiency and quality.
Highly wear-resistant perforated plates are deployed at the bottom of the blasting chamber which ensures the used blasting media will appropriately get into the abrasive recycling system and prevent any damages to the bottom screw conveyor.
Mode of operation
- When the machine is loaded with the correct media repeat process operations are straightforward.
- Open the cover flap via the control buttons.
- Raise the components to the loading height using the scissor lift.
- Load the components into the barrel.
- Close the lid and begin the timed cycle.
- When the cycle is finished then unloading is by way of the barrel tilting forward and emptying the components into a suitable container
UMA 252 G5 Dust Extractor
The Donaldson Torit® DCE® Unimaster UMA 252 G5 dust collector is an economical and effective solution suitable for a wide range of applications including abrasive blasting, polishing, and buffing, grinding, packaging or food processing applications, and a host of other operations where nuisance dust is generated.
The Unimaster dust collector reduces airborne contaminants from the working environment, helps improve air quality for employees and product quality.
The Unimaster is a compact shaker-type, intermittent duty collector with a wide variety of configurations and filter bag materials.
Versatility and dust capture at all points
Highly adaptable, the Donaldson Torit DCE Unimaster dust collector is ideal for intermittent operations in plant processes. Several space-saving units can be placed at dust generation points resulting in total dust capture from the manufacturing processes:
Efficient filtration operation with a cost-effective self-cleaning cycle
Utilising high-performance Unimaster filters, contaminated air is drawn in through the inlet to the filter by the fan. Initially, some pre-separation takes place as heavier dust particles lose momentum and fall into the hopper.
Finer dust is carried up to the filter elements and retained on the outer surface of the filter fabric. The cleaned air passes through the filter fabric into the fan chamber and is discharged through a secondary after filter.
At the end of the process or shift, the extractor is switched off and the filter fabric cleaning cycle commences: Dust is dislodged from the filter elements and falls into the collector. This cleaning cycle requires no compressed air, reducing the services required and operating costs.
