Wheelabrator Vacublast Ventus 125P Pressure Fed Blast Cabinet

The Ventus pressure fed air blast cabinets from Wheelabrator have been designed specifically for production applications where a high work output is required, combined with optimum abrasive blast quality.

In this hand blast cabinet, the blast nozzle is operated manually by the operator through the armholes and can be used with all dry and free running abrasives available on the market today.

The Vacublast pressure fed system is an essential tool when there is a need for removing heavy corrosion, tough coatings or especially when high production rates are required.

Cleaning rates are up to 5 times the speed of a suction venturi cabinets and are suitable for use with a wide range of abrasives such as Steel shot, Aluminium oxide, Garnet, Glass bead, plastic media and walnut shell etc.

Pressure feed machines are commonly used where there is a requirement for high production environments on applications such as shot peening, surface coatings removal, surface preparation and general blast cleaning.

Blast chamber

The cabinet has a large loading door fitted to the right hand side of the machine and includes a throughput entry gate for the passing of long objects such as pipes and rails through the cabinet . The door on this range of machines is renowned for its effective seal to the chamber for a leak free operation.

Complete with a matching  dust control plant, triple cartridge and reverse pulse cleaning to enable continuous operation. For the removal of the dust, debris and spent media from the cabinet. This sytem also provides the power to run the media recovery and grading cyclone system.

Additional cabinet features include:

  • Internal lighting
  • large viewing window
  • Large operator armlets
  • Entry exit vestibules
  • Extended internal capacity
  • Simple and safe foot pedal blast control
  • 30 litre pressure feed pot
  • Cabinet mounted blasting pressure regulator in easy reach of the operator.
  • Heavy duty swing out manual rotary table.

Currently set up with single phase motor fitted to the dust extractor but has a spare 3 phase motor to enable the conversion if required.

The attached blast generator and reclamation cleansing unit.

Blast media is delivered from the 30Ltr pressure pot having passed through the cyclonic separator were the level of waste separation can be controlled by the setting of the air wash eductor to refine the system to the grade of media being used . The air wash is set to retain the reusable media and reject the undersized and waste dust to the dust collector.

The reusable media passes from the cyclone separator over a full width magnetic separator before dropping onto a vibrating debris screen which removes any over sized particles and debris from the process.

Located below the cyclone and screening sections lies a 30l pressure vessel which stores the blast media ready for use.
