The TODD Engineering Spartan 2000 series spray-booth is a premium rear extract type spray booth offering high levels of performance at an affordable price, ideally suited to applications with a medium to high throughput, the Spartan can be the workhorse of any body shop.
The Spartan boasts a high airflow rate resulting in 5 air changes per minute, this is achieved using a highly efficient fan design and plant work configuration, combined with energy efficient technology including variable speed drives and LED lighting, ensures that the unit is very economical to run. The airflow design provides a good through flow of air for removal of paint over spray and vapours without the need for underfloor

The TODD equipment on offer is 3 booths complete with paint mixing room. 2 spray and/or drying booths and 1 spray booth all of same dimension. All 3 booths have internal concertina connecting doors allowing material flow within the complex reducing material handling.
With booths 1 and 3 having gas heating/ drying the current layout allowed process flow of preheat of components, spraying and finally moving to booth 3 where the components dried/ cured.
Booths 1 and 3 have top fed gas fired heating ducts.
All 3 booths have rear filtered extraction.

The system was commissioned in June 2013 and used to spray components for the heavy goods vehicle industry and military applications.
The system was primarily used with water based paint however occasionally the use of CARC paint for the military products was accommodated.
The equipment is currently fully connected and operational but has not been used since January 2016. The equipment can be tested prior to purchase.
