Description

Microclean & Microsolve 450 

This Guyson International multi stage Ultrasonic cleaning system offers a rapid and highly effective method of precision cleaning components to a very high standard. The system comprises both water based and solvent systems in one common frame, allowing the best of both cleaning processes to be conducted in a single footprint. 

Manual cleaning or spray wash methods may struggle with complex geometries, blind holes, tube internals or difficult to reach crevices, but these problems are easily dealt with when ultrasonic's are employed.

Ultrasonic cleaning works by introducing ultrasonic energy into a tank containing the cleaning solution. This energy causes minute vacuum bubbles to form and collapse within the solution, this action being called cavitation. The cavitation leads to a very gentle but highly effective scrubbing action on the component surface that loosens the contaminants.

The multi stage cleaning system has an automated PLC controlled Autotrans MK3 carrier handling device, coving both machines.

Aqueous cleaning

Heated ultrasonic wash, town water rinse, and final  rinse with warm condenser air drying which suits a wide range of cleaning needs in aerospace, precision, electronics and other industries. 

Stages of the unit are as follows:

Stage 1

  • Heated Sparge under immersion Pulsatron 1500 Watt ultrasonic wash, with heating provided by thermostatically controlled heaters mounted on the tank sides.
  • Integral lip fume extraction
  • Base mounted ultrasonic's 
  • Low level float switch relaying low level warning message to control panel
  • The sparge under immersion evenly distributed the solution across the process tank, with a pumped action supplying the agitation via the filtration circuit consisting of a coarse pot type pre filter, removable cartridge type fine filter 

Stage 2

  • Cold sparge under immersion town water rinse, with 
  • The sparge under immersion evenly distributed the solution across the process tank, with a pumped action supplying the agitation.

Stage 3

  • Heated spray under immersion towns water rinse tank
  • The sparge under immersion evenly distributed the solution across the process tank, with a pumped action supplying the agitation via the filtration circuit consisting of a coarse pot type pre filter, removable cartridge type fine filter 

Stage 4 & 5

  • Twin station hot air condenser dryer
  • Chamber tank fitted with automatic pneumatic sliding lids. 
  • Air is drawn from the base of the tank and is passed over a heating bank of elements, before being recirculated back into the chamber to effectively dry the components. 

Solvent System

USC 450 from the "Heat pump" range of low usage solvent degreasers incorporates an innovative method of reducing the power consumption of the machine by converting the latent heat of the refrigeration compressor to assist with the boiling of the solvent. The design lends itself to usage with the sub 55°C boiling point solvent, such as Methylene chloride.

The Mono-Solvent process is intended for applications with light to medium contamination levels and typical applications include precision cleaning of bearings, gyro components and medical components; maintenance cleaning of pneumatic and hydraulic components; and, in electronics, rosin flux removal from PCBs or from solder jigs and fixtures.

This twin stage immersion and vapour dry ultrasonic solvent degreaser with inbuilt refrigerated vapour condensing system and pumped filtration has all the wetted parts constructed from 316 Stainless steel with Inbuilt 4 sided rim extraction.

Single station control panel and selectable process thermostats allowing the unit to be used with a range of currently available low boiling solvents in the 30-55°C range..

Stage  1, 390 x 450 x 325 mm deep  Watt ultrasonic immersion cleaning.
Stage 2, 390 x 450 x 325 mm vapour phase generation for vapour cleaning and drying.

Robotic Handling Autotrans Mark 3

Includes full PLC control, accessible via the control pendant enabling the programming of up to 10 separate programs for differing cleaning requirements. 

NOTE: The ultrasonic transducers from stage 1 of the aqueous cleaning system have de-bonded and will require attention or replacement.
