Description

The Firebird 'K' 8-model range of front-loading kiln with additional steelwork and increased insulation. 14kW of heating elements are situated in the side walls, floor, door & backwall for even distribution of heat. Manual roof cooling dampers are fitted

These kilns are for use at up to 1000°C, utilising a double-skinned casing construction with air-gap. This ensures that they operate with a minimum heat loss and a sensible outside casing temperature.

The Furnace is fully lined with low density brick including the door. The door is gasket sealed.

The frame design incorporates an integral floor stand. All electrical connections including the rear wall mounted thermocouple can be accessed from the rear of the furnace after removing the rear cover-plate. Heating elements are situated in sidewalls, backwall, base & door.

This furnace offers the large capacity and robust construction required for general workshop use.

Traditional hard wearing refractory materials used for the chamber entrance provide good resistance to accidental damage. A solid support for heavier furnace loads can be added as a single hearth hard tile or a frame can be constructed to support multiple products.

A selection of plug in removable instruments allow the furnace to be tailored to meet the specific heat profile of the work in hand (see below for options)

<th>Model</th><th>Description</th><th> </th>
ST312The ST312 is a single program controller. It is fully adjustable with a detailed 6-lamp mimic display. The program comprises 2 ramps followed by a soak. Ramps can be heating or cooling. It executes a controlled ramp to temperature t1 then it executes another controlled ramp to temperature t2. It soaks at t2 for the required period. Natural cooling then follows.

ST314The ST314 is a single program controller. The program can have from 1 to 9 segments. It is fully adjustable with a detailed 5-lamp mimic display & continuous display of segment number. Each segment comprises of a ramp followed by a soak. Ramps can be heating or cooling. It executes a controlled ramp to the soak temperature where it dwells for the required period then executes the next segment. The end of the program is marked by selecting ‘End’ while entering a ramp rate. Natural cooling then follows.

ST315The ST315 is a 9-program controller. Each program can have up to 9 segments. It is fully adjustable with a detailed 5-lamp mimic display & continuous display of program & segment numbers.

ST316The ST316 is a 9-program controller. Each program can have from 1 to 9 segments. It is fully adjustable with a detailed 6-lamp mimic display & continuous display of program & segment numbers. Each segment comprises 2 ramps followed by a soak. Ramps can be heating or cooling. It executes a controlled ramp to temperature t1 then it executes another controlled ramp to temperature t2. It soaks at t2 for the required period then executes the next segment. The end of the program is marked by selecting ‘End’ while entering a ramp rate. Natural cooling then follows.

ST325The ST325 is a program controller. Its large illuminated 32 character display makes it easy to set up & use. Setting up is performed using an on-screen menu system and during firing full status information is displayed.
