Hydrapower Dynamics Rack type Immersion treatments line - Multi purpose, Alocrom1200 pre-treatment , Etch & Clean.
Previously used as a Alocrom etch & clean line
Alocrom is ideal for coating all types of aluminium and aluminium alloys including high silicon pressure die-castings. It should be used on aluminium wherever maximum corrosion resistance and when electrical conductivity is required. It is suitable for components that are to be painted or left unpainted. It gives a protective golden coloured coating which is, like anodising, integral with the aluminium.
The plant consists of a 10 station line, which includes 6 x wet process tanks, a load/unload station and on-line Lanemark gas fired well type drying oven with pneumatically operated lid.
Reasons for pre-treatments
Before a finish can be successfully applied, the surface of the item to be painted should be clean and free from any type of oil or grease contamination.The use of conversion coatings can greatly assist in the adhesion of the paint to the substrate material.
Post clean drying oven: After the pre treatment stage the components should be thoroughly dried of any cleaning solution, making them ready for the powder to be applied.
Suitable for ferrous metals and aluminium it is an economic and speedy process, affording excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, adhesion and lubricity properties.
Immersion pre-treatment process with electric heating
A1. Etch Stainless Steel, 1200mm width with a Lanemark model TX30N 190kW immersed Stainlesss steel tube burner fitted within 600mm of the side wall (1200mm clearance over the burner tube) and 600mm of the process tank at full depth.
